This past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con was full of announcements, reveals, teasers, trailers, and more!

After being kept closely under wraps for several months, Marvel chose the San Diego Comic-Con to finally reveal some juicy details about the upcoming Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp. Things started with a reveal of the official logo and art work, giving fans a better look at Hope Van Dyne’s Wasp costume. An official movie poster was also revealed.

However, it was the casting news that got the fans excited, as Kevin Feige revealed Hannah John-Kamen will be playing villain The Ghost, and Walton Goggins has signed on to play another villain, Sonny Burch. Randall Park was also confirmed as joining the film, playing SHIELD Agent Jimmy Woo. But the two biggest casting announcements see two previous stars of DC movies joining the MCU: firstly, Laurence Fishburne was confirmed as Dr Bill Foster, better known in the comics as Black Goliath. And finally, former Catwoman actress Michelle Pfeiffer has signed on to play Janet Van Dyne – Hope’s mother and the original Wasp. There were no plot details revealed for the fans, but with shooting beginning that week, it surely won’t be long before we have some more info to keep us going until Ant-Man and The Wasp hits cinema screens in July of next year.
